Karen Comber is a very talented artist who has often visited Greece. She has been there several times on holiday and after seeing so many stray cats, read up about the situation and came across this site.
She has been donating monthly to our charity for a while now, however, she would like to try and help a little bit more. She has been painting scenes from Greece and as such has worked on some Greek Cat paintings based on photos of cats taken during her holidays in Greece.
Any limited edition prints sold from these three paintings, Karen will donate £5.00 to our charity.
So far Karen has painted three greek cat scenes and put together a special webpage on her website.
Our supporter Helen Light is going to do a 20 mile sponsored walk to raise funds for this neutering program. She really would like to raise as much as possible to help with the costs and would be so grateful if you could help her.
Helen and her brilliant team went to Thessaloniki and neutered an amazing 240 cats in 4 days!!
Well done to all of them and of course all the organisers in Greece and many thanks for your support.
Many thanks to Eileen Weston too for providing a great selection of feline goodies that all sold out and Barbara Crofton for tombola prizes.
Most of all, thank you to all of you who came along and visited our stall to support us.
After a full day at the Worthing seafront fair, despite the cloudy, windy and chilly day, I am delighted to say we raised an incredible £620!
Special thanks to Samantha and her mum for coming a long way to help and also for donating so many lovely things, to Laurie Tregent, Toni Lamb, Joe, Joanne Clark, Angela Collins, and to all the kind people like Eileen London who donated such fantastic items to sell.
The GCWS team is most grateful.
We will be back there again this coming Sunday 31st July. If you didn’t make last week, please come along and say hello.
