We have just received this message from our good friend Christiana in Thessaloniki.
I am sending you an update regarding the TNR projects from the beginning of 2026 until the 8th of April .
127 cats have been trapped, neutered and released to their areas with your support and great financial help for the projects and with some donations from the locals.
More than 75 cats are female that will not give birth anymore to unwanted kittens . The rest are males that will now stop mating and fighting causing serious injuries.
13 further cats needed other treatments and extra surgeries, mostly due to cat flu and extractions of rotten teeth .
3 cats had a pyometra (womb infection) and have been treated and saved. One male cat had surgery because of diaphragm hernia.
I have managed to cover the costs for all the treatments and the extra surgeries with the money from an auction that a friend in the UK runs to help me.
To say that I am truly grateful is not enough!!!! To say that I have no words enough to express my gratitude for all your help and support to help us is not enough!!!
With your all your hard work to help our strays you have changed thousands of lives for these poor animals!!!!!!
