We have received the following thank you email from Janice and are grateful for all the neutering and dedication of this wonderful team.
A huge Thank you to the Greek Cat Welfare Society UK for all the hard work that goes into the management, collection and distribution of funds for this amazing charity organisation-helping us here on Aegina with our stray cat problem. There are only three of us in Agia Marina raising funds and distributing food for the strays on a daily basis. We have 11 zones now! A massive Thank you to Elizabeth Koubena of the Animal Protection of Aegina and Agistri who assisted, advised and paid for approximately 40 cats in 2022. The GCWS gave us the funds to neuter/Spay 30 females. February 2023, but accidentally we also neutered some males along the way. This is only the tip of the iceberg and hopefully we can carry on until every last cat has been sterilised. Up until now, none of the females were pregnant when we took them to the vet. If we stop now, all the hard work already done will be futile. Hopefully by the time the summer season starts we will be in control. All these cats are beautiful creatures and we should cherish having them live amongst us. Thank all your supporters, without them this could not be possible. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Happy Healthy cats.
